The Light House delivers Assistive Technology (AT) supports both within our campuses and to the wider community of individuals with disabilities across the region. Our goal is to enhance communication, learning, and independence through personalized tools and strategies that meet each person's unique needs.

WHAT IS AT?

Assistive Technology (AT) includes any device, system, or strategy that empowers individuals with disabilities to perform tasks with greater independence. Whether high-tech or low-tech, AT solutions help improve access to education, employment, and community life—supporting people in achieving their personal goals.

WHO BENEFITS?

  • Individuals with communication challenges

  • People in need of mobility or adaptive tools

  • Those requiring support with daily living, education, or employment
