The Light House sends service and operational text messages to people who opt in. Depending on your program and signup preferences, messages may include responses to inquiries, enrollment follow-ups, appointment reminders, school and program events, newsletter notifications, transportation updates, staff coordination, schedule changes, weather delays, closures, and emergency notices.

Messages may be recurring, including bulk or automated messages, and frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

SMS consent is obtained through an optional consent checkbox on a designated form or another documented opt-in method. Providing a telephone number for enrollment or a general inquiry, visiting our website, or being included in a contact list does not by itself enroll you in recurring SMS messaging.

Consent is not a condition of enrollment, services, employment, or purchase. If you decline texts, contact us to arrange another communication method, such as email or telephone. Marketing texts require separate consent.

We use mobile numbers, consent choices, opt-out requests, and message records to deliver communications, manage preferences, and document permissions.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS consent records, or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our public website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so we can review and address it.

Our website may link to or include content from outside services, including donation, application, newsletter, video, and social media platforms. These services have their own privacy policies. Review their policies before providing information or using their services. We do not control their content or privacy practices.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, although no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure.

Declining or stopping optional texts does not affect eligibility for our programs or services. Contact your program office to arrange another method for receiving necessary notices.

We may revise this policy by posting an updated version with a new Last Updated date. Policy changes do not themselves enroll you in SMS communications or expand the scope of your consent.
