The Light House is pleased to offer transportation services for all Light House programs and participants. We provide safe, reliable travel to individuals with a wide variety of needs including intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Transportation solutions are available to state agencies, local school districts, and individual families alike. 

 

All staff receive ongoing training in safe driving, disability support, and behavior management and certified in CPR/First Aid. 

 

All vehicles are regularly inspected and receive a series of State safety inspections.

We understand that coordinating transportation can cause headaches, and with some districts reporting transportation costs exceeding tuition, we decided to do something about it. Two years ago, we decided to figure out what works and what doesn't, in order to provide safe affordable transportation.
